POSA

POSA World Federation (POSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring the recognition of pole dance as a sport and supporting the growth of the athletic and artistic side of the sport.

Pole Sport Worlds & Pole Art Worlds

POSA hosts annual international championships for both pole sport, aerial sport and pole art.

POSA has developed one of the world’s most equal and objective scoring systems in Pole and Aerial Sports. It offers high-quality judge training for all national federations working under it.

The Art and Sport of pole athletics has grown immensely in recent years and the need for an organised federation became clear. In response to this need, a group of passionate professional pole athletes created the Pole Sports and Arts World Federation (POSA) to ensure recognition of pole as a sport.

With sports recognition as its goal, the POSA was created to unite, regulate, organise, lead, and develop the practice and competition of pole sport and pole art around the world. As an international federation, POSA supports, represents, and defends all affiliated country federations. All affiliated competitions are standardised in athlete expectations and judging methods.
